SPOKANE, Wash. -- A Spokane man will spend the next two decades behind bars for supplying other drug dealers with narcotics like fentanyl in eastern Washington.
According to U.S. Attorney Pete Serrano, 40-year-old Charles McClain was found guilty of firearm and drug trafficking charges in May and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The Quad Cities Drug Task Force began an investigation into McClain for supplying drug dealers in the Clarkston area with fentanyl pills, powder, and methamphetamine.
In May, law enforcement searched McClain's Spokane apartment and located numerous narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Agents also found a gun and $18,000.
McClain told investigators he purchased approximately 10,000 fentanyl pills and 10 ounces of fentanyl powder every month for about a year. He had
