LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lincoln Police Department is recognizing two Good Samaritans who helped find a missing 11-year-old boy Friday morning.
The boy was reported missing just before 9:10 a.m. after he left home on his bicycle, headed to school. Two Good Samaritans, Tony and Ailondra Nguyen, found him about an hour later while they were at Holmes Lake.
Police said the two were made aware after LPD made a social media post asking for help in locating the boy.
“This is just one example of how critical a role YOU play when we need help. LPD is grateful to all our followers for sharing posts when we ask for public assistance,” LPD wrote.
