STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Trash and debris covered parts of the Centreport Parkway after a truck overturned Friday morning in the Fredericksburg area.

The crash took place just off the Interstate 95 ramp near Exit 136.

In a post on X just before 10 a.m., the Virginia Department of Transportation shared that the ramp was shut down and urged drivers to use Exit 133.

The department shared pictures on social media showing trash scattered across the side of the parkway.

About an hour later, on and off ramps near I-95 reopened. However, the right lane on Route 1 to Centreport Parkway remained closed.
