Actor-comedian Paul Rodriguez was facing a possible drug possession charge Friday following his arrest in Burbank.

The 70-year-old was arrested about 8:50 p.m. Monday by Burbank police, according to sheriff’s online jail records. He was cited and released Tuesday morning.

According to a broadcast report, a witness call police to say Rodriguez and a woman appeared to be intoxicated as they left an area restaurant. Police arrested both after locating them in a car inside a parking structure and finding what was believed to be fentanyl in the woman’s purse.

Rodriguez was previously arrested in March in Burbank, again on suspicion of drug possession, when a vehicle in which Rodriguez was a passenger was stopped for a code violation, and a subsequent search turned up narcotics, Burbank Polic
