SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane's Garland Business District is hosting its second annual Pride event on Saturday, August 16.
The event, organized by Spokane Pride, runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and aims to highlight the unique character of the Garland District and Spokane's LGBTQ+ community.
The all-ages celebration will showcase local vendors lining the streets of the district and several areas with live shows and art.
Additionally, classic queer movies will be shown at the Garland Theater throughout the day, including a free showing of The Wizard of Oz at 2 p.m. and ending with a showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show at midnight.
