A man was hit by an NJ Transit light rail vehicle after trespassing at the Pavilion Avenue crossing in Riverside, officials say.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was seen walking on the tracks at 8:30 p.m. Thursday shortly before he was hit. He was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
There were no reported injuries to the 35 passengers and operator on board, officials said.
The River Line was suspended in both directions between Cinnaminson and Delanco stations but has since resumed operations, according to a social media post .
NJ Transit police are leading the investigation, officials said.
