OTSEGO COUNTY — Three people were arrested Aug. 10 in connection with suspected methamphetamine sales at a Gaylord car wash, according to the Straights Area Narcotics Enforcement team.

Per an Aug. 15 news release from the Michigan State Police, detectives began investigating after receiving information about drug activity at the business. Police said 43-year-old Travis Puroll of Mason and 31-year-old Leah Steel of Mason were not employees of the car wash but allegedly used it as a location to sell narcotics.

A traffic stop by Gaylord Police led to the seizure of suspected methamphetamine and brass knuckles. Investigators said 46-year-old Larry Love of Frederick was also arrested after allegedly receiving methamphetamine from Puroll and Steel. Detectives intercepted Love before he could m
