A Colorado athletic trainer who was supposed to be helping teenage athletes reach their goals instead preyed on them — and now a jury has found him guilty of sexually assaulting the girls he coached.
On Thursday, a Douglas County jury convicted 51-year-old Aaron Thomas Carrado on six counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust as part of a pattern of abuse, according to a news release from the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors
