AN online debate has exploded over a TikTok video listing so-called “unspoken airplane rules” - with one suggestion about the window seat sparking major backlash.

The short clip, posted by a TikTok user, lays out four “rules” for flying .

The four rules are - keep the window shut except for a quick peek or photo, avoid talking at a normal volume, never turn on the reading light, and don’t use the bathroom for a bowel movement.

TikToker @intoxciatedshrimppopper’s video immediately divided opinion, with many passengers insisting that whoever books the window seat should have full control over the shade.

The video has pulled in more than one million views, over 40,000 likes, and 1,000-plus comments as travelers clashed over her list.
