BROOKLYN, Conn. (WTNH) — A police cruiser was struck on Friday by a vehicle that had allegedly fled the scene of a three-car motor vehicle collision on Friday afternoon, police say.
State police responded to reports of a three-car collision at the intersection of Route 6 and Route 169 in Brooklyn. Upon arrival, they learned that one of the vehicles had left the scene.
According to police, the vehicle was located, and then it struck a state police cruiser.
Minor injuries were reported in the initial car crash, and no injuries were reported as a result of the cruiser being struck.
The scene remains active, and no further information is available at this time.
