RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – The North Carolina State football team plans to represent the city of Raleigh with pride through its new uniforms, which players will wear in their season opener as the Wolfpack play host to East Carolina in less than two weeks.
The university revealed brand-new, fresh-looking uniforms on social media on Friday. The red jersey features "NC State" written in script lettering with an acorn at the end, signifying a nod to Raleigh's nickname as the “City of Oaks.”
It incorporates white numbers on the uniforms, along with red pants and a white helmet that sports “NC State” in red script, while also displaying stripes on the shoulders and the side of the pants. White gloves and cleats with red accents round out the signature design.
