FERRIDAY, La. (KNOE) - The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a Ferriday man after finding the skeletal remains of one dog and two severely emaciated dogs at a home.

Ricky Norwood, 57, was arrested on Aug. 8 on one count of aggravated cruelty and two counts of simple cruelty. He was released on a $12,000 bond on Aug. 12.

CPSO said the dogs were given to the Humane Society of Louisiana, where they will be boarded and receive vet care before being taken to a Humane Society facility in Mississippi.
