MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A 16-year-old Cleveland boy wanted for homicide was arrested at about 9 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Cuyahoga County Fair, off Bagley Road.

Police on patrol on Bagley near an entrance to the fairgrounds were approached by a male, who said he had been shot several times about one month earlier.

He said the boy who shot him was at the fair, which made him scared for his life.

He gave police the boy’s name and said the boy was walking toward Bagley along the fair entrance path.

Police learned that the boy was wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for homicide.

Police watched the fair entrance and looked for the boy inside the fair. They saw a group of juveniles sitting in the fairgrounds and believed one of them was the Cleveland boy.
