MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- WREG first told you about a Jackson, Tennessee, man who had his Dodge Charger stolen in July from the Memphis International Airport’s parking garage. Nearly a month later, the car has been found.

“I’ve never heard of that, I didn’t know there was a size limit on stealing a car,” said Eric Thompson, whose car was stolen from the airport.

Eric Thompson is in disbelief after learning 23-year-old Anthony Taylor told police he was too big to steal his car.

Thompson’s 2020 Dodge Charger has been missing for more than a month after it was stolen from the airport parking garage. Thompson found out on Wednesday night, while on a business trip in Washington, that the car he was looking for was involved in a car crash after MPD spotted it with Mississippi plates.
