EASTVIEW, Ky. — On Thursday, a Kentucky police department asked for the public's help in finding a suspect in an armed robbery nearly two months ago.

On June 30, a man robbed the Eastview Food Mart and fled the scene, according to a social media post by Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators believe the suspect entered the store with a handgun, carrying a black backpack. He demanded cash from the clerks before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

“This was a dangerous crime, and we are determined to identify the suspect," Hardin County Lt. Colonel David Lee said.

Police posted the surveillance footage on social media. He was last seen on video heading east.
