CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A family of four and a dog have been displaced after a blaze broke out at a home in Mariemont Friday afternoon.
The fire was reported by a neighbor just after 4 p.m. along the 6900 block of Haines Street. At least 10 different agencies responded to the scene.
According to Dave Copeland, Assistant Fire Chief with the Mariemont Fire Department, the house was a total loss and Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the family.
Copeland said that nobody was home at the time the fire broke out and the cause of the blaze has not been determined, but Hamilton County Fire Investigators are on scene.
No injuries were reported, but Haines Avenue, Lytle Woods Place and a portion of Miami Road will be shut down for several hours.
