DES MOINES, Iowa — A Marshalltown woman, Amanda Nicole Manatt, has been sentenced to six months in federal prison for misusing controlled substances and falsifying patient records. Court documents revealed that Manatt, 37, worked as a registered nurse at Unity Point Marshalltown Hospital in 2023, where she diverted drugs like fentanyl and morphine for personal use. She falsely recorded these substances as administered to patients.
