ST. CHARLES COUNTY (First Alert 4) - First Alert 4 Investigates has uncovered new records showing that former Francis Howell superintendent Mike Dominguez’s leadership in Kansas coincided with another costly payout, this one totaling $233,000 to a longtime employee and his deputy.

After a public information request into settlements involving Dominguez, the Garden City Public School District confirmed it paid Deputy Superintendent Glenda LaBarbera $233,000 in a settlement to avoid “administrative complaints” and other “claims” she had while working under Dominguez during his three-year tenure there.

A spokesperson for Garden City Public Schools told First Alert 4 that LaBarbera was a district employee for 12 years.
