Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin have walked away from their crunch talks without having made a deal this evening, with "ceasefire" having not featured once in their public address.
The two presidents were locked in negotiations for nearly three hours this evening after touching down in Anchorage, Alaska, in a bid to hammer out a peace deal for Ukraine .
It had been suggested that they could spend up to eight hours locked in bilateral negotiations while hoping to end the now three-year-long conflict.
