A 22-year-old woman was found in West Seattle after she was shot five times Thursday night, according to a Seattle Police Department news release.
Officers responded around 10:50 p.m. near Southwest Admiral Way and 51st Avenue Southwest after a 911 call. There, they found a pickup with three women inside, ages 20 to 25, the news release said.
According to police, the injured woman was wounded in her thigh, pelvis and buttocks. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition. An update on her condition was not available Friday, but police Detective Eric Muñoz said the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Police on Friday were still looking for the assailant.
The other two women were not shot, but one was taken to Harborview for evaluation.
