It’s been hard out here for a classic animation fan. HBO Max Max HBO Max gutted their Looney Tunes library , withdrew Coyote vs. Acme and The Day the Earth Blew Up from release. They eventually undid those last two unforced errors, and now the classic Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts have a new home on Tubi . Tubi is a fitting home for the Toons, what with it sounding like one of Dodo’s neighbors in Wackyland. Tubi has compiled 789 shorts into 262 30-min episodes. They’re all listed as one big season, which kind of ignores all the different schools of animation Looney Tunes had under different producers and directors . Seriously, Bugs Bunny has had more eras than Taylor Swift. He’s kissed about as many boys, too.
