Corey “C.J.” Sadler of Detroit Cass Tech made his future plans known on Friday night at the Riverfront Towers Marina in downtown Detroit, when he made the announcement he will play his college ball at North Carolina.

Sadler, the multi-Dream Team selection of The News and the top player in the state and a four-star athlete according to 247Sports, picked the Tar Heels over Michigan, Colorado and Maryland during a ceremony brought to viewers on CBS You Tube.

Sadler took an official visit to North Carolina on June 6 and left impressed with new head coach Bill Belichick, who guided the New England Patriots to six Super Bowl championships.

Now, Sadler is counting on having Belichick and his staff develop him into an NFL player.
