Santa Maria utilities customers who pay their bills online will need to re-enroll in autopay in September, after the City finishes upgrading its billing system to improve customer service.
Starting Aug. 28, the current website payment system for water, sewer, and refuse services will no longer be available.
On Tuesday, Sept. 2, all customers currently enrolled in autopay will need to re-enroll in the new online system and update their banking information to remain on autopay.
Details on how to re-enroll will be made available at www.cityofsantamariapayments.com on Sept. 2.
Customers who prefer to pay their utility bill by mail or in person may continue to do so.
