CLEVELAND — The federal lawsuit filed by the Browns against the city of Cleveland declaring the so-called Modell Law unconstitutional will move forward as the team sets its sights on relocating to a new domed stadium in Brook Park.

On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge David Ruiz granted a request from both sides to lift his earlier stay to allow proceedings to continue. A case management conference has been set for Sept. 10. Ruiz also instructed the city of Cleveland and state of Ohio to submit any renewed motion to dismiss the case by Sept. 12.
