Digital NEST, a Stockton nonprofit offering workforce development programs for youth, is recovering after a devastating June fire destroyed its newly opened Main Street office. The blaze wiped out donated laptops, 3D printers, and furniture, leaving the building unsafe. Local business Huddle Co-Work stepped in to provide free workspace for staff and interns while the nonprofit searches for a permanent home. The suspected arsonist remains in San Joaquin County Jail, with a mental competency hearing set for Aug. 26.
