City of Wichita looks to transform city park into Kansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – Wichita may soon have a new park to honor and memorialize the service and sacrifice of Kansas firefighters.

The Wichita Fire Department announced Friday night that the city is currently pursuing options and funding opportunities to transform Lincoln Park into the future Kansas Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park.
