COVINGTON, La. — Several people, including an infant, were injured Friday afternoon when an Audi SUV drove into a Covington-area pizza restaurant, according to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say it happened shortly before 4 p.m. An elderly woman was behind the wheel, with an elderly male passenger in the SUV. The vehicle crashed into Isabella's Pizzeria on Hwy 21, causing extensive interior damage and injuring diners.
