Lake Linden: Mike Gagnon, 77, of Lake Linden, passed away at his home after a short illness on August 12, 2025. He was born on March 6, 1948, a son of Gilbert and Yolande (Codere) Gagnon. He graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in the class of 1966. He enlisted in the US Air Force in February of 1968and served as an analyst in Turkey and Washington DC. He returned to Michigan and worked as a contractor. In 1984, he was hired by the National Park Service to work on Isle Royale. He retired in 2013 as an Engineering Technician.

Mike was married to Elaine Dulong on December 21, 1973. They parted ways but remained friends. Mike had been an active member of the Post 90 American Legion of Lake Linden. He had served as a Lake Linden Volunteer Fireman for 22years. He was also a member of
