LOGAN - Senior safety Ike Larsen has been suspended by the Utah State football team. News of the suspension was first reported by Brian Phillips and later confirmed by a Utah State spokesman.
The university issued a short statement confirming the suspension.
"Ike Larsen has been placed on a short-term suspension from the USU Football team for a violation of team rules, effective today, Aug. 15, 2025."
The statement does not mention how long Larsen will be suspended. Phillips first reported that Larsen will be suspended for six weeks which, if true, would mean Larsen would miss at least Utah State's first five games: Aug. 30 vs UTEP, Sept. 6 at Texas A&M, Sept. 13 vs Air Force, and Sept. 20 vs McNeese.
