GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Bradford County firefighters worked to contain a fire that broke out in a wooded area in Starke Friday afternoon.

Crews say the fire started near Northwest 50th Avenue.

Officials asked the Florida Forest Service to help out, and drivers were asked to be cautious in the area because of the smoke.
