ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – UNM head football coach Jason Eck watched closely Friday as his team held its second and final scrimmage of fall camp. Defense dominated the first scrimmage. Offense wanted to set the tone in the second one and started the day with a touchdown drive before losing steam. The offense was able to score ten more points than in the first scrimmage, which encouraged that side of the football.

"I like how we started fast, came out, ran the ball, threw it a little bit," said UNM quarterback Jack Layne. "Guys made plays, good opening drive, and then some good situations today, like the two minutes into the half."
