A long-time firefighter has died after getting hurt while responding to a fire last week, according to fire departments in Bucks County.

Ed Margavich was part of the Third District Volunteer Fire Company Station 14 as well as the Goodwill Hose Company number three, station 52.

Both stations took to social media to announce the passing of Margavich.

According to Station 14, Margavich was known as a kind man with "infectious laughter" who will be missed by his team and the community.

There is a memorial dedicated to him in front of the station that is open to the public to visit.
