Grammy-nominated singer JP Saxe announced he has canceled his upcoming tour due to poor ticket sales, delivering an honest message to his fans on TikTok about the struggles.

In late July, Saxe issued a plea for help.

"Extremely embarrassed to tell you this, but I'm going to tell you anyway. If I don't sell 20-or-so-thousand tickets to my tour in the next 48 hours, it's going to be canceled," he said in a TikTok video.

In an August update, the singer said he was grateful for the response to his video, but it wasn't enough.
