WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — A day after playing their first game in the Little League World Series, the Mid-Atlantic team just outside of Philadelphia celebrated a long day of practice with a frozen treat.

The Glen Moore Little League team made a stop at Batter Up Bakery Sweets and Scoops in Old Lycoming Township near Williamsport.

The entire team got to have some delicious ice cream to decompress after practicing all day in the hot sun.

"I think it's all part of the experience, I mean going out for ice cream, playing on the field in Williamsport, living in the dorms, them bunking, we bunked in Bristol together for a week now we're here so they've bunked together for two straight weeks so it's just a great bonding experience," said Mike Shaw, Mid-Atlantic Team Head Coach.
