The Chicago Cubs are one of the best teams in baseball this season, but when the offseason hits, they're going to have their work cut out for them to continue their dominance in 2026.

Going into the offseason, re-signing slugging outfielder Kyle Tucker will likely be the Cubs' top priority, but it's far from a guarantee.

Rich Eberwein of Cubbies Crib recently suggested the Cubs should pursue a reunion with slugger Kyle Schwarber in free agency this offseason, especially if they miss out on re-signing Tucker.
