PINCKNEY — Goal-scoring isn’t a concern for Fowlerville’s soccer team this fall, not with the return of so much firepower up front.
It’s been four years, however, since the Gladiators have had to replace a starting goalkeeper. Owen Smith locked down that position the entire time, leaving a significant void when he graduated in the spring.
The net has been turned over to sophomore Gavin Harrison, who made some big saves in his varsity debut to help Fowlerville beat Pinckney, 4-2, on Friday, Aug. 15.
