District Judge Joel Medd turned down the city of Grand Forks’ attempt to force local auto salvage dealer Myron Weekley to clean up his property on Gateway Drive.

In denying the request for an injunction against Weekley, Medd said in a memorandum issued Friday that the city failed to show that Weekley’s salvage lots are a nuisance and are out of compliance with city code zoning regulations and City Council directives.
