President Donald Trump and President Vladimir Putin met for a three-hour closed-door meeting at a military base in Alaska, marking Putin’s first visit to U.S. soil in a decade.
The summit focused on brokering a peace deal to end the three-year war in Ukraine. Both leaders provided scant details about their discussions.
“We had an extremely productive meeting and many points were agreed to and there are just a very few that are left, some are not that significant one is probably the most significant but we have a really good chance of getting there, we didn’t get there but we have a really good chance of getting there,” President Trump stated.
