Hamilton Accies boss John Rankin has challenged Connor Smith, Steven Bradley and Stuart McKinstry to give him better numbers from midfield. ‌

Rankin has been pleased with the young trio’s contributions this term, but reckons that they, allied to experienced campaigner Scott Robinson, can step it up. ‌

Smith took his tally to three for the season as he scored two and Bradley one as Accies put Queen of the South to the sword 4-1 on Saturday. ‌

Rankin said: “When we look at last season, Connor is probably frustrated at his goal contributions and the assists that he made, considering the positions he gets into.
