On Friday night, the Seahawks rushed for 268 yards. The last time Seattle rushed for more than 250 yards was in 2022 in a regular season game against the Detroit Lions. Yes, this was just a preseason game, but it's an indicator that Klint Kubiak and his offense can walk the walk, just as much as they can talk the talk. And proof that "We want to run the ball," are not empty words.
"The run game being successful is just what we've been working on the whole offseason," right guard Anthony Bradford said. "As an O-line we're stressing running the ball right now. So you seen that tonight. It's going to keep going like that."
