USA Hockey announced its 2025 U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team earlier this month, with Cranberry Township native Laney Potter making the team.

Potter just wrapped up her sophomore season with the Wisconsin Badgers, helping the team claim the NCAA national title. Potter, a defender, earned All-Western Collegiate Hockey Association third-team honors.

The rivalry series put the best collegiate women's hockey players from the U.S. and Canada against each other in a three-game series that took place on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Potter also played on this same squad in 2024, when Team USA won the series 2-1.
