The Fire Fox Five will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19 at the Cheboygan Opera House.

The event will benefit the Cheboygan Area Arts Council scholarship fund, according to a community announcement.

The wind quintet, based in Northern Michigan, was founded by Thomas Tafoya, Brian Carter, Lynn Hansen, Jayne Winchester and Cheryl Ogonowski. The program will feature works by Valerie Coleman, Darius Milhaud, Marc Mellits, Franz Danzi and Bizet.
