Bikes for All is seeking donations of gently used bicycles to support its mission of providing refurbished bikes to those in need.

The organization is entering its fifth fall season of collecting, refurbishing and distributing bicycles, according to a community announcement. Over the past four years, more than 282 children and adults have received recycled bicycles.

Bikes can be dropped off from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Mattapoisett Congregational Church, 27 Church St., in the Barstow Street parking lot across from Center School.

The repair team, composed of skilled cyclists, refurbishes the donated bicycles. Residents throughout the SouthCoast have been requesting bicycles for transportation to work, school and for recreational purposes.
