When Two Rivers Utilities was founded in 2011, it became part of more than 100 years of history surrounding water services in the city.

At that time, city officials estimate that the utility served around 25,000 accounts.

Today, Two Rivers Utilities has nearly 700 miles of pipes to serve residents across Gaston County and as far as Clover, South Carolina. It serves more than 35,000 customer accounts with water services and more than 32,000 accounts with sewer services.
