BUFFALO, N.Y. — On Friday, Erie County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Chief D.J. Granville pleaded guilty to two charges stemming from a crash in April 2024.

The crash wasn't brought to light until a 2 On Your Side Investigates story highlighted that Granville crashed into 7 parked cars by driving down the wrong way of a one-way street on city's west side on April 11, 2024.

Granville pleaded guilty to reckless driving and leaving the scene of a property damage only accident. He was sentenced to a $550 fine and 50 hours of community service.

Granville had no comment as he exited court Friday afternoon.

However, Niagara County District Attorney Brian Seaman, who prosecuted the case after Erie County District Attorney Michael Keane recused himself, did have some things to say about the case
