BUTTE VALLEY — Meandering through Butte College’s new Science Building during its Friday grand opening, many attendees unexpectedly happened upon the cadaver room. “I do want to prepare you for what you are about to see,” said biology professor Jill Terra as she began uncovering the donated body of a deceased 83-year-old woman. “All of her skin is removed.” The anatomy department, along with other Butte College science departments, is expanding thanks to the new $73 million Science Building.
