GREENWICH, Conn. (WFSB) - An investigation is underway following a pedestrian crash in Greenwich on early Saturday morning.

At around 2:25 a.m. troopers were called to the area of I-95 northbound near Exit 3 after a report of a crash involving a pedestrian, state police said.

Serious injuries have been reported.

The highway is shut down as crews continue to investigate.

Officials ask the public to avoid the area at this time.
