WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- An investigation is underway after a woman was injured in a stabbing in Northeast D.C. overnight.
Details remain limited; however, the Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded to the stabbing just minutes after 3 a.m. at the intersection of 9th and H streets. This is not far from the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station.
At the scene, police found a woman, conscious and breathing, suffering from a stab wound.
Medics rushed the woman to the hospital for treatment of her injuries, which were non-life-threatening.
As of Saturday morning, D.C. police said no arrests have been made and no suspect description is available. Investigators urge anyone with information to call MPD at 2020-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.
