Omar Berrada is "confident" Manchester United's new signings will have a positive impact.

Matheus Cunha was the first signing of the summer transfer window at Old Trafford. The forward's £62.5million release clause was triggered and he joined from Wolves on a five-year contract.

Bryan Mbeumo was the next arrival from Brentford. United were locked in negotiations with Brentford for over a month, but they secured a breakthrough in time for Mbeumo to travel to the United States for pre-season.

United agreed to pay £65m plus £6m in add-ons for Mbeumo, and Amorim further strengthened his attacking options with the signing of young striker Benjmain Sesko from RB Leipzig.

Sesko arrived for a fee of €76.5million (£66.4m) and €8.5m (£7.3m) in add-ons and could make his debut against Arsenal.
