TODAY: We're waking up to temperatures mainly in the low 70s under mostly sunny skies. This afternoon, we'll turn partly to mostly cloudy with some isolated showers and storms possible. An area of low pressure to our southeast will help kick up some activity, mainly for Georgia, so from Columbus eastward will see the best chances for rain. Most of East Alabama will remain dry.
WEEK AHEAD: We'll start the week much drier with afternoons in the mid-90s under mostly sunny skies and only a stray shower possible, but most of you will stay dry and hot. Then midweek, a stationary front drifts southward into the southeast and that should help kick up a few more isolated showers and storms by Thursday, with scattered showers and storms by Friday and the upcoming weekend.
